We start it off at Locust Rendezvous at 6:15 p.m. $3 Leinenkugel Summer Shandys and $2 PBR cans. Tough to beat those prices. Plus a chance to knock off #3 The Jams, who word has it will be shorthanded this week. Really gonna make for a wide open quiz at the Vous that anybody could win.

On to the Black Sheep at 8 p.m. You could really make a name for yourself by knocking off #1 team on the JGT circuit right now, Duane’s World. Plus we’ll be playing a little Name That Tune at Black Sheep. Hope to see ya tonight!

Taking the night off at the Industry thanks to Beer Week, but we will be in action at the Bards at 9 p.m. Looking to raise your JGT Power Ranking? Well, a win over the Jesters of Tortuga would do just that. Think it can’t be done? Think again. The Specific Jawns knocked them off just two weeks ago. So come on out to the Bards, where we’ll play some quizzo, drink some $3 Lagers , and play a little Name That Tune for fries and candy. See ya there!

Last night was a wild. A real battle of the heavyweights last night at O’Neals, as we had four top 20 teams in attendance, and a huge win by Savage Ear. The outdoor quiz at City Tap was great, and Jesters of Tortuga missed a no-hitter by one question, about a Saint dog. And so tonight, we kick off an all-new quiz, starting at the Rendezvous at 6:15, where you could certainly make some waves by beating the #3 ranked team in the JGT Rankings, The Jams. $3 Yards Brawlers.

At Black Sheep at 8 p.m., things have been a bit quiet the past few weeks, despite the fact that there is an opportunity for you to knock off the #1 ranked team in quizzo, Duane’s World. In addition to the regular quiz, I’ve been tacking on some “Name That Tunes” lately, and it’s been a pretty big hit. I’ll be doing it again tonight at Sheep. Hope to see you there. If you don’t make it, A-Rod (above) will be so disappointed. (And keep in mind, Industry is cancelled for Thursday, so feel free to come out tonight if you’re a regular there.)

Just a little heads up that due to the Beer Week special we won’t be doing quizzo at Industry this Thursday night. We’ll be back in action next Thursday. All of our other bars are in action this week however, so if you were planning on playing at Industry on Thursday, just come on out to another spot. Gonna be a quiet week due to Beer Week…gonna be a great week to earn a win.

90s sitcoms has taken an early lead in voting for next week’s Wild Card Round topic, but this one is far from over. Cereal Brands, Discontinued Snack Foods, and Price is Right Games are all right on the heels of 90s sitcoms. YOUR vote will determine the topic for next week, so be sure to vote on facebook (If you’re not already a part of the JGT Facebook page, just ask to join and we’ll get you in quickly). Voting ends Friday at 5 p.m.

Yep, it’s time for the return of French Fry Thursday at both Industry and the Bards. $3 fries, plus I’ll be giving away a couple of baskets at each with a little French Fry Faceoff. Also, gonna play some Name That Tune for candy.

On to Bards at 9 p.m. $3 Lagers, $3 fries, and once again I’ll be giving away some fries and candy with a little Name That Tune. And tonight’s wild card round is an extremely fun Before and After. It’s gonna be a barrel of monkeys. Hope you can make it out.

It’s no secret that we here at JGT Industries are huge Reef the Lost Cauze fans. Not only has he done a rap round at quizzo before (where he memorably destroyed Koob at Hip Hop album trivia), he also gave us a great interview a few weeks ago. Anyways, he’s released a new tune this past week, and it’s off the hook. Don’t get to hear a lot of harmonica in hip-hop, but that’s what I love about Reef, he’s always experimenting with new styles. Anywho, I can’t get enough of this tune, so I thought I’d share. You can listen to the whole EP here.
