Today we debut a new show on the website called Welcome to My Basement!, in which I will be bringing lovely young women (and perhaps the occasional man) of Philadelphia down to my basement and then discussing various topics. Creepy yet captivating, the first episode is pretty damn good if I do say so myself. In the video, I am interviewing Timaree Leigh who has a great blog called sexwithtimaree.com (which is actually fairly safe for work.) The interview was so great that I split it into two parts, and this is part one. We discuss lesbians, animal sex, and whether or not humans are naturally monogamous. Big Money Tuesday Tonight!

Should be  agreat night of quizzo. We’re gonna kick it off with a mystery round, just to make sure everybody is paying attention, see how much you know about a musical legend in Round 3, and determine a champion with an impossible round that I would rate as “medium” on the spicy scale. Action starts at O’Neals at 8 p.m. A little quiet last week. Should be a few tables and chairs around for you to bring a team to play. $3.50 margaritas are a solid deal, and the winning team walks with a $50 gift certificate. On to the City Tap House at 10:15 p.m., where things are starting to pick up as the youngsters trickle back into town. $3 Sly Fox cans, and $10 gets you a personal pizza and a beer. Hard to beat that deal, especially if you can pull off a win. Winning team walks with $100 GC. Big time. Hope to see you tonight!

Help JGT Make His Dream a Reality

 

Hey gang, I made it into the 2nd round of the 97.5 the Fanatic Dream Job competition. This is something I really want to win. I dunno if you know this, but when I first moved to Philly 10 years ago, I paid just to be on the air, and host a sports show for several months. In fact, when I started hosting quizzo, it was to raise money for that show. I thoroughly enjoy being on the microphone, and I know a fair amount about sports. And I don’t have any interest in hosting an obnoxious, jocky sports show. I want to host a sports show that is entertaining for everyone. I’ve had an opportunity to meet many of the most interesting people in Philadelphia, from comedy, music, and entertainment, and I want to get them on the air to talk to them about sports.

I want to discuss the quirkiest and most interesting things that have happened in Philly sports history, not a bunch of yelling about the Eagles punt formation. I can talk about those things if called on, but quite frankly, I don’t think they’re very interesting. I really want this opportunity, because I want to entertain people, and I need your help to make this a reality.
