$25 Bounty Bowl Tonight

Hey kids, just a quick reminder that there will be a Bounty Bowl at the Ugly American tonight. L. Ron Hubbard’s Diabetics have won 6 straight weeks, and must be destroyed. Action kicks off at 8 p.m. sharp. On to the Bards at 10:15 p.m. During the summer, the Bards is without question the best place to grab a full table. It is also pretty wide open, as several of the top teams have lost key players or are taking the summer off. Now’s your turn to shine. $2.50 Sam Adams during quizzo, and the Phils game will be on. Hope to see ya tonight.

Quizzo Tonight

Here’s how quizzo went last night: 2nd and 3rd rounds were tough, 4th round not so much. Be interesting to see how it shakes down tonight. It’s going down at 6:15 at the Rendezvous. Best beer specials in town. On to the Black Sheep at 8 p.m.

I recently got stats from first half of the year, and will try to have them up soon. But first I’ve got some pizza videos to work on. Working on Tacconelli’s now, adn will have it up this afternoon. Hope to have Celebre’s up by the end of the week. Stay tuned. In case you haven’t seen any of the videos yet, click here.

Dolphin 56

kona

As you are well aware, I have a history with dolphins, and have a lot of worthless knowledge about bottlenose dolphins. I therefore found this article about an Atlantic bottlenose dolphin hanging out off the Jersey Shore pretty interesting, and think you might too. (By the way, don’t feed dolphins in the wild, especially off motorboats, as there is a major problem with them getting their fins caught in propellors.)

“After a few minutes, when he realized he wasn’t going to get any fish from me, he—and this is no kidding—he swam off, caught a fish in his mouth, then returned with the fish sticking out to show me,” Ritt master says. “He was saying, ‘Feed me fish! I want fish from you!’ Obviously, he was capable of catching fish for himself. So what’s another explanation for his behavior? I mean, it sort of implies he wants interaction with people.”
