Quiz of the Day

longest_hotdog.jpg
This one is about The Longest things. And I’ll just tell you right now that apparently a new river has taken the crown away from what was America’s longest river when I was in school. Who knew that a river could grow in 20 years? That one got me really frustrated, but I eventually got it. I ended up with 20 out of 26. Let me know how you do on this quiz in the comments. (That’s the world’s longest hot dog above. It’s over 60 meters long, which I think is like 200 feet. But I’m not sure. Anyhow, there are no questions about the longest hot dog on the quiz.)

I don’t even know why we claim that we solve mysteries. I guess the mystery this time was, “What were the Centennial Cafe and the Laurel Hill Cemetery like?” Anyhow, the Centennial Cafe really did have a great breakfast, and yes, Ginger really did not feel comfortable in the graveyard, but she pulled through. The people at the Centennial Cafe were wonderful, but the people who worked at the cemetery were kind of weird and not very friendly. The only guy that was nice to us got chewed out by his boss for answering our questions. If you go, just keep to yourself. Anyhow, if you want to learn more about the Laurel Hill Cemetery, click here. To learn more about the history of the Centennial Cafe, click here.
