This is Kind of Cute

Yesterday, I went over to my Little Brother’s house because it was his 12th birthday, so his family was getting together for cake and ice cream. (His mom got trick candles. I am a big fan of trick candles.) Anyways, we’re hanging out front on the street throwing the football and his buddy Phillip comes riding up on his scooter with tinfoil in his hand.

“Hey Steve, I forgot it was your birthday until like an hour ago, so this is all I could get you.” So he opens up the tinfoil, and pulls out a cookie from a nearby bakery. Then he reaches into his pocket and pulls out a dollar in change, the only other thing he could scrounge up in the past hour so that he could give his buddy a birthday present. Awesome.

Hey kids, hope you were able to get by in my absence. Puerto Rico was great. A couple of days in the rain forest, a couple of days on Vieques, and a couple of days in Old San Juan. Needless to say, hearing about Harry while in a Puerto Rican rainforest was a blow (I did my crying while hiking through the jungle.) But all in all, it was a great trip. I hope to have my photos developed and posted soon (the above is a view of the place we stayed in the rainforest). Also, I’ll get scores on the site as soon as I get them from Mike Minion and Sandman. Finally, details of tonight’s comedy show coming soon.

As you know by now, I am headed to Puerto Rico for the week, leaving you with feelings of abandonment and disillusionment. I know, I understand. But fear not, youngsters, there will still be quizzo and there will still be action on this here site. I will post Quizzo Bowl questions on the site next week, and then post a question each day for you guys to discuss in the comments. Of course, I won’t be posting them, Trivia Art will. I won’t even have my computer on me. Che-ya! As far as quizzo is concerned, the Sandman will be hosting Tuesday at O’Neals and Bards, Mike Minion will host at the Rendezvous and the Black Sheep on Wednesday, and then Sandman will be back on Thursday at the Bards. Yeah, one quiz. We’ll be back on a regular schedule one of these days. I have a couple of meetings lined up to discuss a new Thursday spot when I get back. Hoping to be up and running on Thursdays starting in May. Alright kids, well mind the store while I’m gone and be nice to your substitute. See ya when I see ya. Woo-hoo!
