As you know by now, I am headed to Puerto Rico for the week, leaving you with feelings of abandonment and disillusionment. I know, I understand. But fear not, youngsters, there will still be quizzo and there will still be action on this here site. I will post Quizzo Bowl questions on the site next week, and then post a question each day for you guys to discuss in the comments. Of course, I won’t be posting them, Trivia Art will. I won’t even have my computer on me. Che-ya! As far as quizzo is concerned, the Sandman will be hosting Tuesday at O’Neals and Bards, Mike Minion will host at the Rendezvous and the Black Sheep on Wednesday, and then Sandman will be back on Thursday at the Bards. Yeah, one quiz. We’ll be back on a regular schedule one of these days. I have a couple of meetings lined up to discuss a new Thursday spot when I get back. Hoping to be up and running on Thursdays starting in May. Alright kids, well mind the store while I’m gone and be nice to your substitute. See ya when I see ya. Woo-hoo!

It was a little loud and crazy, but a lot of fun on Thursday as I hosted quizzo at a party for Villanova Law Students. In the end, it was the Debutante Ballers squeaking by the Party Brigade, 86-81 to take the title of Nova’s Kings of Useless Knowledge.

This actor, who was Forrest Gump, Jr. in the 1994 film and rocketed to fame in 1999, turns 21 today.

This badass, who made his acting (ahem) debut in the 1988 film Above the Law, turns 58 today.

There is only one quiz tonight, and I won’t be there. Nope, I got a private gig out in Villanova. Now I know what you’re thinking: “Goodtimes, you sell out! As soon as someone flashes a little dough on the Main Line, you’re on the next train out of town!” You are correct. That is exactly how it is. But I am leaving you in capable hands. The Sandman is hosting tonight at the Bards. 10 p.m. And yes, it’s the same questions as earlier this week. No, I’m not lazy. I got a trip to pack for, you nitwits. That means that the Sofa Kingdom and the Hurtin Bombs can’t play tonight. So your team has a good chance of winning tonight! Tonight is your night. Make it happen.
