Been a lot going on lately. Here are a few things to check out if it’s your first time here in a while.

We’ve also started taking a daily quiz where you see how you stack up against me. Check these out and let me know how you do in the comments section.

For those of you that are here for the first time, a few things you should know about me:

Chip Chantry One Man Show On Monday!

Hey kids, we’ve got a very special Chip Chantry One Man Show at the Khyber on Monday (8 p.m.), with some great local comedians. Aaron Hertzog, John Kensil, and Eric Todd will be performing, as will 1920 Comic, who will be travelling back through time to entertain you! Finally, we know we keep promising (and we keep letting you down) but this month I swear there will be a return of the Wheel of Terrific. If you have not seen this show yet, I highly recommend it. It is a blast.

Everything You Need to Know about Everything

Alright kids, I’m heading down to the ballpark, but I wouldn’t leave you without a few great sites to visit this afternoon.

  1. Intercourse Rhubarb Festival.
  2. Illusion Alpaca Auction.
  3. Kinetic Sculpture Derby.
  4. Cooper’s Hill Cheese Rolling.

Quiz of the Day

longest_hotdog.jpg
This one is about The Longest things. And I’ll just tell you right now that apparently a new river has taken the crown away from what was America’s longest river when I was in school. Who knew that a river could grow in 20 years? That one got me really frustrated, but I eventually got it. I ended up with 20 out of 26. Let me know how you do on this quiz in the comments. (That’s the world’s longest hot dog above. It’s over 60 meters long, which I think is like 200 feet. But I’m not sure. Anyhow, there are no questions about the longest hot dog on the quiz.)

Quizzo Tonight

Quiz on Your Face have quickly become the first true rivals the Jams have had at the Vous in a while, and 1022 has added some muscle, so things are no longer a cakewalk for the Jam Masters. Will be interesting to see how things play out tonight at 6:15 p.m. I will warn you: this is the toughest quiz we’ve had in a few weeks. I don’t think anyone’s had a perfect round one yet. But I think it’s a good quiz. On to Black Sheep, where Duane’s World is unquestionably the team to beat. Can they be knocked off tonight? Kick off is at 8 p.m.
