3rd Place: Savage Ear 111
Week 6 of the Invitational wraps up tonight, and if you’re looking to earn a win, this is your best chance of the week. Industry continues to have more parity than any other venue on the circuit, so if you’re looking to get into the mix in the Invitational, and you love terrific hamburgers and $3 beers, then you should be there at 6:30. On to the Bards at 9 p.m., where Lagers are $3 and you’ll have a shot to knock off the number 1 team on the circuit. Name that Tune and French Fry face-off tonight…don’t miss it!

Decided this time to hold out on physical challenges until the back end of the invitational, so they would carry more weight and create a bit more of a race for the finish line. So the first one is posted…a picture of you or members of your team jumping. You can earn up to 5 points this way (the equivalent of a win). As for the Invtitational, it will be August 25th at the City Tap House at 6 p.m.(outdoors if weather permits), and as usual will feature lots of prizes and live music. So get your team together and start earning those points!
Here ya go. These include action earlier this week. Teams in yellow are in line for bonus prize. Teams in red would be in if the season ended today, and teams in green are on the bubble. But keep in mind that it’s an all new quiz in the 2nd half of the week, so if you need some points, then you are welcome to play again this week. Also, I have just posted the first physical challenge of the season on facebook. So if you’re on the bubble, or want to get your team into the mix, you can quickly earn yourselves up to 5 points.

Mixing it up a bit this week, with a 5 round quiz of 8 questions each. Been a fun little change of pace. Action starts at the Vous at 6:15. $3 Stoudt’s Heifer in Wheat Pints, and $2 Miller High Lifes. On to the Black Sheep at 8 p.m. New specials every week and Name That Tune. It’s a new quiz, so if you played earlier this week, you are welcome to play again. (Oh, and in case you’re looking there is no question of the week this week) See ya tonight!
It’s just gotten to be that point of summer where anything goes. And so this week we’re mixing it up a bit. Instead of 4 rounds of 10 questions, we’re going 5 rounds of 8 (with two wild card rounds and an audio round). Furthermore, there is no question of the week this week. Total chaos!
We kick off at O’Neals at 8 p.m. A chance to take on #3 Savage Ear and walk away with a $50 gift certificate. $3.50 Mexican beers and $5 quesadillas and burritos. On to City Tap at 10:30 p.m. Adam P’s least favorite quiz! You won’t want to miss it! ANd since it’s so damn nice outdoors, we’re gonna move it under the stars tonight. See ya outside at the Tap House at 10:30!
I wish I could convince more of you geeks to come to this thing. It’s so much damn fun it should be illegal.
