One of the highlights of the Sandman hosting quizzo is that while he a brilliant man, a very good quizzo fill-in, and a great friend, he is, without a doubt, the worst photographer I have ever met in my life. His photos are almost performance art. He certainly didn’t disappoint this week. The Industry pic is a personal favorite.

Fun Quiz Tonight

Good quiz this week, and a great opportunity to get a win at the Industry. As always, terrific $3 craft beer specials and great food. Just a great place to quiz and one of the venues where anyone can win on any given week. Action starts at 6:30.

Just a heads up that I am on vacation this week, and the Sandman is taking over. There will be only one quiz this week, so you can’t play twice.

You have no idea how happy I am to get some time away from you freak nerds much I’m going to miss you guys, but I’m going to try to have fun anyway. Sandman has plenty of experience, so I’m leaving you in good hands. Scroll down for the Question of the week, and here are the time and dates for the quiz this week. Now, if you’ll excuse me, I’m going to try to avoid thinking about trivia for a few damn days.

Final Scores at the JGTSI

Here were the final scores on Sunday at the JGTSI, held at the Urban Saloon. Terrific job by the Ronnie Band between rounds, and great hospitality by the Saloon gang. And in the end, the winners and losers were decided by a Creed song. It turns out that Kristy on the Jesters had the AOL handle of Creedrocksgirl back in the day (true story), which is how they got the question right (Duane’s World missed it) and ultimately won the game.

Also, a big shout out to There’s No I in Quizzo, who after a last place finish at the Spring Invitational, pulled themselves up by the bootstraps and ran with the big dogs at this summer’s event, finishing tied for 3rd.
