Happy February 30th!

Perhaps I got a bit ahead of myself. We won’t have a February 30th until next year. That is, IF you join the revolution. While doing some research the other day about February 30th (because hey, why not?) I stumbled across the World Calendar Association. I am now going to bestow upon you the link to this most incredible website.

They had me sold hook, line and sinker. And so this week’s podcast is about the World Calendar movement, and how we can start a revolution that will render the Gregorian calendar obsolete (Finally!) It’ sonly about 16 minutes long, it’s very funny AND it has the answer to this week’s Question of the Week.

Quizzo Tonight

You know how we do…quizzo starts at Industry at 6:30 sharp. Hahaha, just kidding about the sharp part. But roughly 6:30. $3 craft beers, excellent food, and terrific service. Speaking of service, Riley and I are talking about switching up jobs again one week soon. But I want to make sure it’s a week we have a packed house. I want to run around like a madman, scream at Dave, and storm out in a huff. Let’s make that happen!

Where were we? Ah yes, quizzo at Bards at 9:15. I hardly even need to promote this one any more. People hanging from the rafters the past few weeks. Mayhem! Outrage! Chaos!* So come on out to see the spectacle.

*None of this is true. I just think it sounds cool.

Some Schedule Changes for Tonight

ArtMuseumNight-G-Widman-600

I’ve got a pretty cool event at 6:30, the 1960s quiz at the Art Museum. Get there early, I think we’re gonna have a pretty decent crowd. Drinks and quizzo at the Art Museum? Pretty incredible. If you’re free, come on down.

The quiz at the Vous will be on as usual. Carl B. Sure will be hosting. Action starts at 6:15.

I will be back at the Founding Fathers quiz. However, we will be starting a bit late, both to allow me time to get there from the Art Museum and also because Nova has a game tonight. We’ll start around 8:45 or 9.

Just gonna do one set of questions this week so I can focus on these 1960s questions. We’ll be back to two quizzes next week. See ya tonight!

Three Quizzes to Choose From Tonight

alla spina

We start it at 8 p.m. Carl B. Sure will be hosting again at Alla Spina. We’re off to a good start…more players in week 2 than week 1. Right at around 20 people. Would love to see a few more out tonight and watch this thing grow. I think this is a really incredible space and I’d love to see this one work. If you’ve got friends in the area that like to play quiz, let them know. It’s the exact same quiz as the one I’ll be hosting at O’Neals and Tap House.

O’Neal’s kicks off at 8 p.m. as well. We’ve still got our same deal: any team who scores 120 points or higher and wins gets a $100 gift card. Nobody has struck gold for a while. Will it happen tonight?

On to Tap House at 10:15. We’re having an awesome 2016 thus far. Just a great group of students and some terrific crowds. See ya tonight!

1960s Quizzo at the Art Museum!

philadelphia-museum-of-art-600

Yep, you heard me correctly. Really excited about this one. Gonna be hosting a 1960s quiz at the Art Museum next Wednesday, the 24th. It’s one of their “Art After 5” events, and I’d love to get a good crowd, since this should be a pretty incredible event. Event starts at 5, there’s a 1960s short film at 6, and the quizzo will start at 6:30 p.m. You can get more info here.
