So part of the deal for Quizzo Bowl is that you’re gonna get a free ride to the event from Uber (for all people using it the first time, and for up to $20.). Here’s how it works…sign up for their app on your smartphone (or you can use their mobile site m.uber.com) It’s incredibly user friendly.

Fill out your info, and a few minutes before you want to leave on Saturday, when it asks for a promo code, enter QUIZZOBOWL. That’s all caps, one word. They’ll send you a towncar within a few minutes. I used it for the first time a few weeks ago, and quite honestly, I don’t know if I’ll ever use a regular cab again. It is first class. The cars are brand new and totally sweet, the drivers are friendly, the whole experience is great. If you haven’t used it before, you’re gonna be blown away.

Right.

The Spirit is hooking us up with a pretty awesome beer special on Saturday. All domestic American beers will be $3. That in addition to free lunch (there is such a thing!) and a free cab ride. So what are ya waiting for? Get on the boat!

As you look out on yet another bleak, snowy winter day today, and you think of all of those recent weekends that have been ruined by bad weather, keep this in mind: you can either keep your string of cabin fever weekends going this Saturday, or you can get on a yacht, listen to a terrific band, drink a few cold ones, and play a little quizzo. After that you can walk down the waterfront on a practically balmy day to the afterparty, where you can see a legendary comedian, win prizes, and listen to one of the best rock bands you will ever see in your life. The Legendary WID, who nearly started a riot at Quizzo Bowl IV, has waited 6 years for his redemption. This year, he gets it. One of the funniest men in Philadelphia, he is nothing short of genius. I am extremely excited to have him on board for the afterparty, which will also be a celebration of ten years of quizzo. We will have tons of giveaways, a Q&A with Fastball Bob, and of course, lots of TJ Kong and the Atomic Bomb. This is going to be one of the wildest events you ever attend.

A lot of haters out there be sayin’ that I won’t be able to out-bedazzle Johnny Weir with my outfit at Quizzo Bowl. That he’s JUST …TOO…MAGNIFICENT. I won’t deny that Weir has stepped his game up big time (especially today), and has put the rest of us flashy sportcoat wearers on alert with what can only be described as a gold medal performance. But this ain’t my first rodeo, and he’s not the first challenger to the throne. Just you wait, people. Just you wait.
