What company based in Los Angeles was known for it’s EXTREMELY baggy jeans in the late 90s?

1990s Week Begins Tonight!
JGT and Chip Host “We Have Fun” on Monday Night
Kweder Crackhead from Johnny Nottingham on Vimeo.
If you would like to hear one of Philly’s most brilliant minds talk about mankind’s 4.5 billion year plan to leave the solar system before the sun blows up, if you want to hear about Johnny’s Little League baseball team (literally the worst one ever assembled in sports history), and if you’d like to hear Philly best rapper try to rhyme over Yacht Rock beats, then DO NOT MISS THIS SHOW. Monday at 9 p.m. at Good Good Comedy Theatre. $5 a ticket, and it’s BYO, so feel free to bring booze.
We debuted it last month, and had a ton of fun. An entire crowd clapping and singing along to “Crackhead” by Kenn Kweder was pure magic (above), and Chip and my discussion of an actual riot at one of our shows went quite well.
This month, we’ll talk about another disastrous show we did a while back, we’ll have another crowd sing-a-long, and we’ll work in a bit of trivia. If you are free Monday night, want to be part of something really fun, and want to support local comedy, come check us out.
Quizzo Tonight
Hey gang, just a heads up about tonight’s quizzes:
Quiz at the Industry at 6:30 is a 100% go. $3 beers, great happy hour specials until 7, terrific food, Name That Tune, and a GREAT opportunity to get a win. Totally wide open.
On to Birra at 8. As of now, we’re on, but with the Birds game coming on, we’ll play it by ear. If we get a decent crowd out for the quiz, we’ll do it. If not, we’ll come back next week. Bards at 9:15 is also a GO for tonight. Hard to know what to expect. If it’s a rabid Eagles following that will lose their shit if they turn off the audio, we may can it, but it’s not a huge sports bar so I think it will be OK. Either way, if you’re looking for GUARANTEED action tonight, I’d go with the Industry.
As for the shirt above, before there were the Eagles, there were the Frankford Yellow Jackets. Philly’s first NFL team played in the Northeast and actually won the 1926 NFL title. If you’re interested in the shirt, click here, and as always, you get free shipping with the checkout code “Quizzo”.
Question of the Week
JGTAI Scores Are Up
Here ya go, the latest JGTAI scores. The Invitational will take place on November 19th, so still plenty of time to make a move but I would certainly get your team out next week. You can also score points on the JGT Facebook page. So lots of time to make things happen. As far as places to get a win, City Tap House, Fishtown Brewpub, Industry, and Birra are by far your best bets. None has a dominant team. So get your crew together and make the magic happen. See ya next week!
