Double Points Night at Industry

Not only has there been more parity at Industry than anywhere else on the circuit (6 different winners in the past 6 weeks), but tonight I am offering double points in the JGTSI to any team that wins (as well as double points for 2nd and 3rd). It’s an incredible opportunity to get your team in the mix. Action starts at 6:30.

Quizzo Tonight

We kick it off at the Vous at 6:15 p.m. Still a chance to get a seat. It’s not been empty lately, but it hasn’t been slammed either. Could be a good shot to get in. If you’re going to Founding Fathers at 8:30, get there early. It’s a friggin madhouse almost every week. Just nuts. See ya tonight!

JGTSI Scores Are Posted! (Finally!)

Finally got around to adding all your points up over the past month, and here are the results, straight off the presses. Now, if anyone was out our Anniversary event last week and I forgot to put you on there, let me know. I think I got everyone but I’m not sure. Anyways, look at your score and let me know if I’ve flubbed anything.

So here’s our situation with three weeks left in the regular season (Big Event will be held on August 16th. Venue and band info coming soon). We’ve got some usual suspects at the top of the board, but we’ve also got a few new teams making a name for themselves. Game Blouses, Pop Shop, 21 to Drink, and Shades of Death are all making a run. Can they keep it up this week?

If you’re looking to get a win, your best bet is the Industry. We have a new winner nearly every week. I’ll also be offering double points there this week.

Also, there is a new opportunity to JGTSI Bonus Points on Facebook. An easy way to get in the mix if you’re not already there.

Quizzo and Geeks Who Drink Show Tonight

Geeks Who Drink - Season 1

We kick the party off at Industry at 6:30 p.m. Great opportunity to score a win, as we basically have a new winner every week there. Plus great food, cheap craft beers, it’s a pretty terrific setup.

On to the Bards at 9:15. Gonna try to start on time for once so we can wrap up right at 11 and tune in to Geeks Who Drink, the new TV show from the guys at…Geeks Who Drink. Yeah, those same dorks who we travel across the country to play each winter and who also come here and cause trouble. They have a TV show now on SyFy Network, and it debuts tonight at 11. Gonna see if Mike will let us put it on at the bar.
