A quiz about nothing coming up this Sunday, as I’ll be hosting a Seinfeld quiz at World Cafe Live. Already started working on it. Gonna be a very fun quiz, and a great Seinfeld inspired menu to boot. We’ll have The Big Salad, sandwiches on toasted marble rye, and pretzels to make you thirsty. We’ll also have drinks such as the Kosmo, the Combination to the Vault, and Serenity Now.
If you know your Seinfeld, do not miss this quiz. Doors are at 5:30, and quiz starts at 7. You can RSVP on Facebook. Finally, after 5 weeks, JGTAI scores are now live, so you can check and see if you’re team is in the mix. If they are, be sure to keep out ahead of the angry attack dogs that are nipping at your heels by earning some more points this week. If you need help scoring some points, there’s good news: there is an opportunity for easy bonus points this week. And of course you can also earn them the old fashioned way: winning some quizzes. OK, OK, so judging by the meager turnout at Sidecar last night, you guys aren’t all that impressed by Island Week. So I’ve decided to change the name to “Sex Island” Week. I know that’s a bit of a better draw. Now, there won’t be any questions about sex, per se, but there will be a lot of questions about islands. And it’s a pretty fun quiz! You’ll enjoy it! We’re going to play Name that Tune for candy! Welcome to Sex Island! It’s filled with candy!
The action starts at O’Neals at 8 p.m. $50 Gift Card for the winners, which doubles to $100 if you score 120 points or more. Great opportunity to get a win (I mostly just say that because it pisses of Jawn of the Dead).
Alla Spina kicks off at 8 p.m. as well. Hosted by Carl B Sure, this is a terrific place to play the quiz. $2 off all drafts on quiz night, excellent food, and it’s anybody’s ballgame. No dominant teams. And terrific prizes. $50 for first place and $35 for 2nd.
We wrap up at City Tap House at 10:15. The interesting thing about Tuesdays: it’s by far the biggest prize money and by far the most wide open for new teams to win. $100 gift cert for first and $50 for 2nd. Come! Take this money!

This week we’re gonna get away from the rat race with a trip to the islands. Which islands? ALL OF THEM!!! Yep, it’s going to be the best vacation ever. The party ends tonight. After a week of trashing hotels, making out with groupies, and drinking whiskey straighto out of the bottle, we’re gonna be closing up shop.
