After a hearty debate over Bush’s environmental record and global warming (see comments under previous story), I decided to try to find a comprehensive, unbiased article about global warming. There will be a vote tommorrow to decide whether or not to allow drilling in the Arctic National Wildlife Refuge, which George Bush has been actively pursuing for a long time. Here is an article on the proposed drilling, and here is an excellent primer on the Arctic Refuge. Arlen Specter’s vote will be extremely important. If you love animals, please give him a phone call and tell him you want him to vote yes on the Cantwell Amendment that would keep the Arctic Refuge out of the federal budget.
