JGTAI Heads Into Week 2
Alright gang, the JGTAI is now underway. Quite a bit to report on, so let’s get to it…for those who don’t know who the Invitational works, it’s pretty simple: teams earn points for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place finishes. They can also earn points via Facebook Challenges. (There’s one up right now: post a pic of you in a football jersey or t-shirt of your favorite team). The top 15 point scorers, at the end of the 10 weeks, earn an invite to the Big Event. We then have a wild card week, where any team that wins earn an automatic invite, though that’s not how I’d recommend making a living. We’ll hold the big event on November 19th. Venue and musical act to be announced in good time. So get your squad together, and come on out…quizzo season is here.
JGT Hosting a Monday Quiz by the Water
Hey gang, for the next 3 Mondays starting tonight, I’ll have a quiz at Fishtown Hops, an outdoor beer garden right next to Sugarhouse. They’ve got free parking, plus a free bus that will get you there as well. Going to be a gorgeous evening to be outdoors, so come on out and join me. Quiz starts at 6 p.m.
JGT and Chip Hosting a Comedy Show Next Week
We Have Fun!, a new variety show hosted by Chip Chantry and Johnny Goodtimes, will debut next Monday the 18th at the GoodGood Comedy Theatre. We’ll have Abby Rosenquist, winner of Philly’s Funniest 2017 at Helium, as well as Philly rock legend Kenn Kweder performing a couple of tunes and sitting down for an interview. And we’ll have hijinks and yes, probably a bit of trivia. Tickets are a mere $5. Gonna be a very funny show. Hope you can make it.
