Bards Quiz on Wednesday This Week
Due to the holiday, we’re going to slightly tweak things this week. Nothing drastic, just moving Bards quizzo up to Wednesday night, while we’re taking a week off at the Ugly. Here’s the schedule:
TUESDAY
- O’NEALS 8 P.M.
- CITY TAP HOUSE 10:15 P.M.
WEDNESDAY
- LOCUST RENDEZVOUS 6:15 P.M.
- BLACK SHEEP 8 P.M.
- BARDS 10:15 P.M.
Hope to see ya this week! And yes, there will be a Thanksgiving themed round, though the whole quiz will not be about Turkey Day.
Great Prizes, Food and Drink Specials at Quizzo Tonight
No nights off for this quizmaster. A mere 24 hours after the JGTAI, he’s back in action again. How does he do it? 2 quizzes in 24 hours? Does the man sleep? Is he some sort of machine? Yes, and a well oiled one, at that. Action starts at 7 p.m. at North Star. Half-off of homeade hummus and mussels, and $3 Kenzinger drafts. Plus we’ve got no frontrunning teams. Things there are still wide open. And if you’re coming from Center City and beyond, no worries…the North Star has free parking. Hope to see ya tonight!

Lineup for Autumn Invitational (Updated on Saturday)
Here’s how it stacks up for Sunday’s Invitational. This is what I believe is the final roster. If your team earned an invite and is playing and isn’t listed below, give me a heads up. (johnny@johnnygoodtimes.com) The event is going down this Sunday at City Tap House at 5 p.m., is $10 a pop, and will feature performances from the incredible Blackbird Society Orchestra. (I know we have a few smaller teams, so if you’ve got 5 or less, just be prepared to add a couple of teammates. All of these teams are pretty good, so it should only make your team better.)
