A Little Weekend Reading

Here’s my piece this week from the Philly Post on my decision to give soccer a fair shake, and quit being a hater.

Here’s an awesome picture of Shibe Park drawn in 1946.

The story of John Coleman, the Phillies pitcher who set an MLB record with 48 losses in a single season.

Oh, and that poster you see above? That’s for a show next Friday at the Shubin (4th and Bainbridge), and it’s going to be incredible. Some of the funniest people in Philadelphia (plus me) telling stories from their childhood. Should be a blast.

Quizzo Tonight

We kick it off at Ugly American at 8 p.m. $2 Lagers and $3 french fries. That’s a tough deal to beat. On to the Bards at 10:15 p.m. Ok, so I totally forgot to give those Phillies tickets away on Tuesday at City Tap House. Due to the fact that such a mistake couldn’t possibly be my fault, I’m blaming you for not . Therefore, I will give them away tonight at Bards. Do not let me forget! Also, $2.50 Lager Lights.
