Yeah, the music round last night was pretty nuts. We’re gonna have a lot of fun with it again tonight. The 50/50 is also pretty wild. Action starts at the Industry at 6:30 p.m. $3 craft beers and terrific food. On to the Bards at 9 p.m. Great chance to win at both. Hope to see ya tonight!
An Insane Music Round Tonight
Been having a lot of fun with our music rounds lately. Terrible lyrics, unintelligible lyrics, and then mariachi covers for Cinco de Mayo. Tonight’s is again a pretty wild music round, unlike any I’ve ever done before. going to be interested to see how people do on it.
Action starts at Locust Rendezvous at 6:15 p.m. We move to Founding Fathers at 8:30. Wednesday seems to be the night when the Power teams come out to play. If you want to test your mettle against the best, tonight is the night. And even if you can’t knock off the toughest teams at Founding Fathers, there is still hope…we’ve started giving away a prize for 7th place. Hope to see ya tonight!
Quizzo Tonight
We get it started at O’Neals at 8 p.m. Great opportunity to score a win, and a perfect place to get $3.50 margaritas on Cinco de Mayo. We move to Tap House at 10:15 p.m. Both the wild card and music rounds will be inspired by the holiday. Hope to see ya tonight!
Question of the Week
Quizzo Tonight
Great chance to get a win tonight and get your team up a few notches on the scoreboard. First up is the North Star at 7 p.m. The Little Lebowski UYrban Achievers pulled off the upset this past week, knocking off the Inkspot. Can your crew make the magic happen this week?
On to Sidecar at 9:30 p.m., where it’s really anybody’s ballgame. We’ve had 5 different winners in the past 6 weeks. I’d expect a few Mexico questions, with the Cinco de Mayo going down tomorrow.
The Wallace Brothers to Entertain at Spring Invitational
Really excited about the band I’ve got lined up for the Invitational. The Wallace Brothers will be performing their rockabilly jams between rounds. Saw them at Bob and Barbs a few weeks ago and just knew I had to grab them for the Big Event. Great energy and a lot of fun old folk and country songs.
ANyway, the latest on the event is that it will be on May 31st. Still in talks with a couple of different venues. Hope to know something soon on that end. But you can put it down for the 31st.
JGTSpI Scores
Here is the latest. I have a venue and band finalized for the Big Event, just figuring out which Sunday works best for all involved. Will let you know as soon as I do, either this afternoon or Monday at the latest.
