Action kicks off at North Star at 7 p.m. We’ve been cruising nicely the past few weeks. Let’s keep it poppin’ tonight. On to Sidecar tonight at 9:30. We had  shootout last week. Both spots are totally winnable. So get your squad together and let’s make the magic happen.

We’re bringing back one of the more popular theme weeks we’ve ever done: sex, drugs, and rock n roll week. It is mostly to help promote a play that occasional quizzo player Allison is directing, titled Sex, Drugs and Rock n Roll. The play kicks off with a preview on Thursday. I’ll have some tix to give away to the preview this week. You can also order tickets for half-off their regular price by using the code “Goodtimesex” here. It’s a very funny play by Eric Bogosian. I highly encourage you to check it out.

We kick it off at Industry at 6:30 p.m. The 2nd quiz of this week is a bit tougher than the first one. Wild card round tonight is literature, and the music round is pretty interesting. As always, an incredible $3 craft bar special. This is really a great place to quiz.  Of course, we’ll also have French Fry Face-off and Name That Tune. On to Bards at 9 p.m. $3 Lagers. This has been an absolutely unbelievable week of quizzo. Last night another team earned a wild card spot (our record setting 5th team to do so this week) as Grumpy Cat shocked a Duane’s World team trying to pull off rare back-to-back wins (they won earlier at Black Sheep, then I did another quiz at Bards at 10 and they lost by 2).

So we’re down to one last shot for a team to earn an invite. And it will all come down to Industry. If you can win there tonight, your team can earn an automatic invite to Sunday’s Big Event at the Field House, featuring live music and over $400 worth of prizes.

ANd of course we’ll have French Fry Face-off and Name that tune. Action Starts at 6:30.

We’re moving the Bards quiz up to Wednesday this week (they have a private event on THursday.) Action will start at 10 p.m. on Wednesday, and their Wednesday night drink special is honestly one of the best in the city. You can get some great craft beers for $4. Hope to see ya Wednesday night.

Doing a special quiz at the Comcast Center on Tuesday night at 5 p.m. Kind of a cool thing that we’ll be doing, once a month for the summer. Everybody that shows up gets a $5 voucher to the stores at the Marketplace underneath the Comcast Center, and it’s a BYO event (There’s a state store right across the street.) And we’ll probably get started a little after 5 to allow people to get time to get there. Should be interesting.
