Just talked to Andy. We have got some AWESOME prizes and specials lined up for Sunday. $3 Sierra Nevada Pale Ales, $3 Sly Fox Weisse, $4 Jack’s Cider cans and $6 Spiked Watermelon Lemonade. As for food, we’ve got $10 Smoked TriTip Beef Sandwiches with slaw and fries, $10 spiced wings, and $10 margherita pizzas. In addition to sick prizes for the winners, I’m gonna have Phillies tix to give away, as well as tix to City Tap House’s upcoming Crab Fest (this thing looks awesome, and TJ Kong and the Atomic Bomb are incredible). Yo peeps, tonight we head into Week 6 of the JGTSI. This is a big week for a lot of teams if you’re going to make a move in the standings. We kick it off tonight at 7 p.m. at North Star Bar. $3 Kenzos. On to Sidecar at 9:15. Yes there was a water main break (see video above) on 21st Street, but the water in the neighborhood is back on, so as of right now I’m assuming that Sidecar will be open. If that changes, I’ll let you know.

Sorry that I’ve been slacking on the scoreboard. I’m going to Hawaii next month, and to pay for the trip I’ve taken on a part time gig with Comcast. It’s a cool gig, going to be doing a lot of internet stuff for the Olympics, but it’s kept me swamped for the past couple of weeks. I’ll have time tomorrow to get the scoreboard up, so you’ll be up to date then. And I’ll let you know soon the details on the JGTSI. All I can tell you for now is that it will be held on the evening of Sunday, August 12th.

There is also a new physical challenge posted on facebook, with a chance for some bonus points.

Looking like tonight might very well be the night that the Steak finally falls at Bards. Kenny played last night, so they’re down to Garbo, Koob and Nate. Still formidable, for sure, but beatable. $30 bonus to any team that beats Steak Em Up and finishes first. Action starts at 10:15 p.m. Before that, we kick off at Ugly American at 8 p.m. Great spot if you’re looking for a win to get on the board for the JGTSI. Oh, and $2 Lagers is tough to beat.
