IS THERE A DRESS CODE? No, though jean short-shorts are encouraged.

HOW MANY PLAYERS CAN THERE BE ON A TEAM? Up to 6 players per team.

CAN I BRING BEES? No, they don’t allow you to have bees in there.

A very interesting quiz tonight, as we’re gonna mix it up a bit. Start with a speed round, go into a picture round, then end with a wild card and impossible round. This week’s quiz has proven to be kryptonite to our big gunners, as Steak Em Up, the Jams, and Duane’s World all fell. Should be another wild one tonight. We start at Ugly American at 8 pm. $2 Lagers. You can’t beat that. And if you guys remind me (Heidi and Maria, I’m looking at you) I’ll even throw out some free fries tonight. What the hell? On to the Bards at 10:15 p.m. $2.50 Lager Lights. And a $40 Bounty still on the heads of Steak Em Up, who got crushed on Monday. See ya tonight!

Your first and only chance ever to see Johnny Goodtimes with a tan is tonight (It will be long since faded away by next week.) Mike Minion hosts for the first few days this week before I make my triumphant return, with trumpets blaring and a parade down Broad Street, on Thursday. This week there is a topic: Handyperson’s quiz. Carpentry, cooking, and useful tips and products people use to help them around the house. Going to be a very interesting quiz. Action starts tonight, then continues as usual throughout the week. Only one quiz this week.

Aloha, folks. Things here in Hawaii are great. Sporting a nice sunburn on the back and shoulders and been averaging about 3 mai-tais a day. What: 3rd Annual Johnny Goodtimes Summer Invitational

Where: City Tap House (3925 Walnut Street).

Other details: $10 a pop. Tons of prizes, great live music, and a damn fun quiz. Teams can be up to 8. Your team must have qualified to play, but if you and a friend want to play, feel free to swing by. I’m sure there will be a few teams who could use an extra person or two. See ya tonight!
