Quizzo This Week

OK gang, still not sure what our next move is, but there is no more quizzo at the Sidecar, at least for the remainder of summer. Going to consider my options and come up with a game plan, and hope to have a State of the Quizzo Union for you soon, but in the meantime, here is the schedule for this week. No QOTW this week.

Everything You Need to Know About Tonight’s Seinfeld/Friends Quiz

WHO: Anyone who is a fan of Seinfeld or Friends.

WHAT: A quiz about two classic sitcoms.

WHEN: Tonight! Doors at 5:30, show starts at 7.

WHERE: World Cafe Live, 3025 Walnut Street.

WHY: Because these are the very best quizzes done in Philadelphia. Seriously, this is on a whole different level than anything anyone else is doing…video rounds, live performances between rounds, an incredible venue. It’s simply a whole different level of quiz.

HOW: You can either buy tickets here or at the door. They are $10 (cheap!) and that allows me to get three of the funniest comedians in Philadelphia to perform between rounds, hire a video editor, etc. Trust me, it’s worth it. This is a great show.

WHAT SIZE ARE TEAMS? 2-8 people each.

HOW LONG WILL IT GO: It will be from 7 until around 9:15 or 9:30.

ARE THERE PRIZES? Yes, some awesome prizes, including those found below.  I have a feeling “Best team name” at this thing tonight is going to be epic.

Three of Philly’s Funniest Comedians to Perform at Seinfeld vs Friends Quiz

Our first World Cafe Live VS. quiz was Office vs Parks and Rec, and we had a Scrantonicity cover band (get it?). Our second one was Game of Thrones vs Lord of the Rings, and we had an awesome burlesque troupe doing Game of Thrones burlesque (it was awesome). Our 3rd quiz is June 11th, and I’ve lined up three of the funniest comedians in Philadelphia: Chip Chantry (recently had the #1 comedy album on tunes), Jake Mattera (two time finalist in Philly’s Funniest), and Brandon Vincent Jackson (2016 Runner up in Philly’s Funniest). Seriously, this is an All-Star lineup, and that’s IN ADDITION to what promises to be a great quiz in an awesome venue. And all for only $10 a pop.
