My latest column in the Philly Post is about cheering for opponent’s injuries and booing the home team. Of course, it’s interesting that Hunter Pence has no problem with people booing him.

The Mets starting pitcher on Tuesday, Miguel Batista, gave up a home run to Ruben Amaro, Jr. in 1992.

Last week’s podcast is worth a listen. Special guest Chris Young and I discussed Junior Seau’s death, and whether the tide is going to recede on the NFL’s popularity in the near future.

Final Food and Drink Quiz Tonight

Your last chance to play the food and drink quiz is tonight. We start at the Ugly American at 8 p.m. Words with Friends With Benefits are making a name for themselves, having won 3 weeks in a row. On to the Bards at 10:15 p.m. Steak Em Up is favored, but they’re not very good at food and drink, as evidenced in their big loss on Tuesday. This could be your best bet to upset them. Food and Drink Week at Quizzo

All questions this week will have to do with food and drink. Food covers everything from fine french cuisine to banana sculpture, and drinks cover everything from water to Pimm’s Cup (which I’ve decided is my Summer 2012 drink). Action starts tonight at North Star at 7 p.m. then Sidecar at 9:15 p.m.
