Question of the Week
5 Quick Questions With Libertarian City Council Candidate NA Poe
With all of you going to the polls tomorrow (because you are going to the polls tomorrow right? You’re not one of those lame-ass non-voters who whine about how crappy City Hall is and then does nothing about it, are you? Because those people are THE WORST), I thought I’d chat with one of the more interesting dark horse candidates in this election. NA Poe is a marijuana activist and comedian who has decided to run for city council as a libertarian. He first gained attention when his peaceful marijuana protest at Independence Hall was met with heavy-handed resistance from federal officers. Here he talks about marijuana, holding the PPA accountable, and whether or not he’s taking this election seriously.

Record Setting Quizzo Week Ends Tonight at Industry
This has been an absolutely unbelievable week of quizzo. Last night another team earned a wild card spot (our record setting 5th team to do so this week) as Grumpy Cat shocked a Duane’s World team trying to pull off rare back-to-back wins (they won earlier at Black Sheep, then I did another quiz at Bards at 10 and they lost by 2).
So we’re down to one last shot for a team to earn an invite. And it will all come down to Industry. If you can win there tonight, your team can earn an automatic invite to Sunday’s Big Event at the Field House, featuring live music and over $400 worth of prizes.
ANd of course we’ll have French Fry Face-off and Name that tune. Action Starts at 6:30.
Bards Quiz Will be Wednesday Night This Week
We’re moving the Bards quiz up to Wednesday this week (they have a private event on THursday.) Action will start at 10 p.m. on Wednesday, and their Wednesday night drink special is honestly one of the best in the city. You can get some great craft beers for $4. Hope to see ya Wednesday night.
Question of the Week
Quizzo Tuesday at the Comcast Center
Doing a special quiz at the Comcast Center on Tuesday night at 5 p.m. Kind of a cool thing that we’ll be doing, once a month for the summer. Everybody that shows up gets a $5 voucher to the stores at the Marketplace underneath the Comcast Center, and it’s a BYO event (There’s a state store right across the street.) And we’ll probably get started a little after 5 to allow people to get time to get there. Should be interesting.
Final JGTSpI Scores!
Well here they are, the final scores to the JGTSpI. Invitations are about to go out. Teams in orange are in line for a bonus prize, teams in yellow made the cut, and teams in green are on the bubble (typically a few teams either can’t play or consolidate, so your chances of making the cut are pretty decent.)
Of course, there is one last chance to get an invite…win this week and get a wild card invite. Your best chances? North Star, Sidecar, and Industry.
The event will go down at the Field House this Sunday at 5:30 p.m.
