On this date in 1971, a man named Dan Cooper skyjacked a plane in Oregon (due to an AP reporter getting some misinfo, he was identified as DB in the next day’s paper. The name DB stuck.) He got away with $200,000 in small unmarked bills. After parachuting out the back of the plane, he was never seen again, and only a small portion of the money was found. So what happened? We discuss on this week’s edition of This Week in Worthless Knowledge. You can listen here on itunes or if you don’t have itunes you can listen here.
