Let’s Watch Some Baseball Tonight

Hey gang, I’m gonna be hosting quizzo at the Locust Rendezvous tonight at 6:15 p.m. No quizzo at the Black Sheep tonight, so I’m gonna stick around the Vous for Game 1 of the Series. Feel free to join me. Cheap booze, good food, and always a good Phillies crowd. And why not play a little quizzo beforehand? Hope to see you tonight.

Quizzo Schedule Changes This Week!!!

Alright, here’s the schedule for the week”

  • TONIGHT: It’s normal. O’Neals at 8 p.m., Bards at 10:15 p.m.
  • WEDNESDAY: Locust Rendezvous at 6:15. Black Sheep quizzo is cancelled this week. Hope you can join me at the Vous, as we will be watching the game there after quizzo.
  • THURSDAY: Good Dog quizzo at 6:15 p.m. Note the time change! No quizzo at the Bards on Thursday.

Oh, and FYI, I’m only writing one quiz this week. And drinking heavily.

Schedule Changes Next Week

There is apparently a large event going on next week, and since it will disturb local traffic patterns, we have decided that we’re gonna have to play with the quizzo schedule a bit. (We’re not sure, but we think the event has something to do with “sports”.) I will have an update on Monday, but for now we know this: Good Dog next Thursday will be at 6:15 p.m. and Bards next Thursday is cancelled. I am still waiting to hear from Black Sheep, but will post on the website as soon as I know.

Match of the week

No question about this one. We had several blowouts this week, but we had a thriller at the Rendezvous on Wednesday. The Jams had a terrible round two, getting only four right, but they caught fire in the fourth round, scoring 53, and edging Lawrence’s Last Stand, 97-94. It was a tough loss for the Last Stand (nee Trust Us We Know), as beloved team member Lawrence moved to San Francisco on Thursday and will no longer be on the team. Meanwhile, special acknowlegement needs to be made of Invincible Ignorance. At the Good Dog, of all places, they became the only team to crack 100 this week.

Quizzo Tonight

We kick it off at O’Neals at 8 p.m. with Why is the Rum Gone Trying to Win for the 3rd time in three weeks. We then move over to the Bards, where the Narcotyzing Dysfunktion will try to do the impossible: throw back to back no-hitters. Goodtimes has vowed to not let that happen. Expect tonight’s questions to be a little tougher than normal.
Alright, I gotta go work on questions, but in the meantime check out the new sign in the window at Pat’s, the Eagle fans throwing eggs at the Redskin team bus, and maybe, just maybe an answer to a question at this weeks quizzo over at totalphilly.com.
