Alright kids, off to Camden to watch an 11:05 baseball game between the Riversharks and, um, whoever they’re playing today. In the meantime, read this article I did for the City Paper a few years ago about going on the road with the Riversharks.

Ok, kids, I’m running a little behind this week. Gonna post pics of winners from last week’s quizzos, including the one I did at the Liberty Towers last Monday (ooh lala!) which was actually a lot of fun and I’ll be doing semi-regularly. Questions are about people celebrating birthdays today. One guess per person.

Back in action tonight at O’Neals (3rd and South) at 8 p.m. and the Bards at 10 p.m. Dorksided looks to repeat at O’Neals and the Sofa Kingdom goes for two straight at the Bards. Also, keep in mind that we are kicking off a new quiz on Thursday at the Ugly American (Front and Federal) at 7:30 p.m. And yes, there are two quizzes this week, so you can quit whining about that.

A lot of fuss going on right now over the guy who killed the other guy over a game of Beer Pong. I hope it leads to a lot of political posturing over the dangers of beer pong (but not guns). Anyhow, it reminded me of a couple of years ago when I was at a New Years Party and beer pong nearly led to a major riot, but resulted instead in JUSTICE (served cold).

Quizzo tonight at the Rendezvous at 6:15 and the Black Sheep at 8 p.m. I think this week’s quiz is a little easier than usual, to be honest, but I think it’s kinda fun. The Jams and Duane’s World both got knocked off last week. Will they bounce back tonight? We’ll find out soon. See ya tonight! In other quizzo news, a facebook group has started in London called “Stop Pub Quiz Rascals-SPQR”. It is a group dedicated to stopping the usage of cell phones at Pub Quizzes. Feel free to join.

That’s right kids. I’m heading down south to The Ugly American, located on Front and Federal Street. If you haven’t been there yet, check it out. You’re gonna like it. Great food, great beer selection (lots of local beers), and we’re hoping to have a Sly Fox promotion set up for quizzo soon. Not kicking off this Thursday, due to Dining Out for Life, but we will begin next Thursday, May 7 at 7:30 p.m. (Yeah, it starts a little earlier, ’cause it is no longer a short walk to the Bards.) I’m looking forward to checking out a new part of town, and your’e gonna like the beers and the food. (Don’t take my word for it, take Craig Laban’s. Should be a great addition to the empire.
